Columbia Valley Wineries

Located west of the Cascade mountains, the Columbia Valley AVA is the largest wine-growing region in Washington state and contains most all the other AVAs.

The Yakima Valley AVA, Red Mountain AVA, Walla Walla AVA, Rattlesnake Hills AVA, Horse Heaven Hills AVA, Wahluke Slope AVA, Lake Chelan AVA, the Columbia Cascade region and the Ancient Lakes region are within the Columbia Valley AVA.

This makes Columbia Valley a "macro" AVA. For purposes of simplicity, wineries listed here fall outside all these other wine-growing regions.
